Tail Fins and Chrome Episode Airing Sunday, March 21, Will Feature duPont Registry
March 15, 2010… Riverbank Studios and Tail Fins and Chrome Entertainment, LLC announced the collaboration and debut of Tail Fins and Chrome, a nationally syndicated television show featuring classic cars and the stories behind the owners who love them. Television executive, Mark Dvornik, executive producer of Tail Fins and Chrome has made agreements to air the new series nationally. This week’s episode, scheduled to air on Tampa Bay WFLA, News Channel Channel 8, 11 a.m. EST and RTV, TUFF TV will feature the exclusive duPont Registry and an exclusive interview with magazine mogul Tom DuPont himself.

Each month, duPont Registry hosts a “Cars and Coffee” gathering of some of Tampa Bay’s finest classic, luxury and exotic car enthusiasts in St. Petersburg. Tail Fins and Chrome host Jamie ‘Jake’ Jacobs, says, “ It was a thrill to be surrounded by unique collector cars and to spend the morning with the owners. The duPont family has created a legacy of luxury for the automotive collector and we are happy to showcase that with Tail Fins and Chrome this week.”

Dvornik agreed and added,” The duPont Registry is the magazine of record for classic, luxury and exotic car enthusiasts throughout the world. Tom duPont’s magnetic personality pulls together Tampa’s exotic and rare cars and gives Tail Fins and Chrome unique access for our viewers. ”

Tail Fins and Chrome is a 30-minute show created by Jacobs to let car enthusiasts share the human-interest side of car collecting. He noticed that classic car owners are passionate people and was intrigued by their dedication to restoring their automobiles. In addition, he was impressed by their creation of car-related events to benefit charitable organizations. Jacobs believes that there should be a show on television that highlights these people and their passion and dedication to restoring and showing their cars.
