Jake’s Bio
Jake: Host of Tail Fins and Chrome, Jake, prides himself on being an automotive aficionado. Legend has it he was born in a salvage yard, right here in the state of Florida. Jake enjoys traveling coast to coast to bring all things car-related to his viewers. Whether it’s interviews with auto experts, local car shows and the stories behind some amazing gems, and pretty much everything in-between, Jake will be found having a good time. By his outfit, one can tell he loves rockabilly, the good old days and fedoras. He also co-wrote the theme song to the show! It’s not uncommon to find Jake cooking kettle korn or playing guitar with the local music talent at a car show. Jake has a huge soft spot for people who take part in “Good Deeds at High Speeds” and in 2009, he spent much of his time at charity events including “Trunk or Treat” and Mason Dixon’s Christmas Wish Foundation. If you see Jake and have a great story to share about your classic car, make sure to let ‘em know! He is always looking to share the human interest side of car collecting with his viewers.
